The terrorist group Taliban , storms a military run school in Pakistan and slaughters innocent children in the name of revenge/their ideologies/some other twisted logic. What kind of sick ideology propagates the slaughter of children who haven't done anything wrong? Kids who have been brutally cut down by these sick maniacs who claim they do so in the name of religion and God. Seriously?
The religion isn't the problem. Most muslims I know are peace loving, gentle people with value for friends and family and have extended their generous hospitality to all and sundry. But in the name of Islam a minority forms terrorist groups and under misguided notions and deranged , mental deformity murder, loot and create such unspeakable horror that no human being of norman psyche can ever do.

Does Quran instruct Muslims to kill all infidels? According to my limited knowledge - no. The very word ‘Islam’ (from the Arabic silm) connotes peace. According to a tradition of the Prophet, ‘Peace is Islam’ (Al-Bukhari). This means that peace is one of the prerequisites of Islam. Similarly, a Hadith states: A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hands people are safe. One of the attributes of God described in the Quran is ‘As-Salam’, which means peace and security.’ That is to say that God’s Being itself is a manifestation of peace. Indeed, God is Peace (Al-Bukhari).
All of us , all over the world are heartbroken by this cold, senseless act of terror. It is one of the most abominable terror attacks yet, in the name of religion.
Apparently, attack was revenge for the killing of hundreds of innocent tribesmen during repeated army operations in provinces including South Waziristan, North Waziristan and the Khyber Agency. When will all this killing end? Why cant people just see that the purpose of life is to live a full happy life and to create the best of best possibilities for the next generation?
Heartfelt prayers to the children whose futures have been brutally stolen from them. May they rest in peace. Let us all show solidarity as a universal brotherhood in this time of tragedy - all Religions united for a cause. Let us all try to join in and take a giant step towards putting a stop to terrorism.
